Ghana Think Tank
Ghana ThinkTank is an international collective that “develops the first world” by flipping traditional power dynamics, asking the “third world” to intervene into the lives of the people living in the so-called “developed” world.

Its innovative approach to public art reveals blind spots between otherwise disconnected cultures, challenges assumptions about who is “needy,” and turns the idea of expertise on its head. This process helps people overcome their own stereotypes while being exposed to the stereotypes that other cultures have about them.

Is an organisation in Sweden that provides an outdoor activity for children between 5 and 6 years. The children explore and experience nature in a curious way and thus discover nature's most common plants and animals.

The meetings take place regularly and we are out about 2 hours at a time, for example in a forest hill near the children's home for an increased understanding of the fact that nature's small and large underworld is everywhere.

Swedish Education System
Like most children the world over, Swedish children enjoy listening to music and hanging out with friends. They are also encouraged to focus on their interests. Singing and playing a musical instrument are popular extra-curricular activities. Twenty-nine per cent of girls and 26 per cent of boys aged 13-15 play an instrument in their spare time. Everyone is encouraged to take up sport, and 68 per cent of 13- to 15-year-olds are members of a sports club. Soccer is the most popular sport among both girls and boys. Then comes horseriding for girls. Boys prefer floorball, followed by swimming and ice hockey. The sports interest goes all the way to the top; Sweden is number seven on the Olympic medal score list.

Hobbies and pastimes

Youth Culture

With free spirits such as Pippi Longstocking and Emil to inspire them in books and films, Swedish children are encouraged to think independently and question societal norms.

Greta Thunberg
Greta Thunberg is a swedish climate activist. In August 2018, Greta started a school strike for the climate outside the Swedish Parliament that has since spread all over the world and now involves over 100,000 schoolchildren. The movement is now called Fridays For Future.

Thunberg has spoken at climate rallies in Stockholm, Helsinki, Brussels and London. In December she attended the United Nations COP24 in Katowice, Poland, where she addressed the Secretary-General and made a plenary speech that went viral and was shared many million times around the globe. System Thinking
"Term used to describe a perspective and a set of methods and tools that make it possible to look at the full extent of a system, rather than at fragments or parts. To innovate on any social, economic or environmental problems , it’s necessary to find ways to see, understand and use the system itself."

In this video we understand how the introduction of wolves in a ecosystem influences other species and even the behaviour of the rivers.

Our project
Doughnut Economy
They say a picture speaks a thousand words, so here’s the state of humanity in a single image. It’s the “Doughnut” of social and planetary boundaries and it could just turn out to be the compass we need for creating a safe and just 21st century.

The hole at the Doughnut’s centre reveals the proportion of people worldwide falling short on life’s essentials, such as food, water, healthcare and political freedom of expression – and a big part of humanity’s challenge is to get everyone out of that hole. At the same time, however, we cannot afford to be overshooting the Doughnut’s outer crust if we are to safeguard Earth’s life-giving systems, such as a stable climate, healthy oceans and a protective ozone layer, on which all our wellbeing fundamentally depends.

Geocaching
Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor adventure that is happening all the time, all around the world. To play, participants use the Geocaching app and/or a GPS device to navigate to cleverly hidden containers called geocaches. There are millions of geocaches in 190 countries waiting to be discovered—there are probably even some near you right now.

It offers something for everyone, from families with children to retirees. Some geocachers play the game to see how many total “finds” they can get, while others play to see how many new states or countries they can visit. Geocaching is a great way to find remarkable destinations that you would not have otherwise discovered. It is also an excellent education tool and an excuse to get off the couch.
